Title:
Ubuntu 24 installer fails when it encounters a Proxmox drive in a
  wipe-all situation

Status in subiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Proxmox was on the system before. You can see 'pve' in the screenshot.

I've attempted a from-the-start installation of Ubuntu 24.04 twice now
and it's crashed at the same point each time: `wipefs --all --force
/dev/pve/data` is the failing command. That failure is not being
  handled gracefully
