Public bug reported:
During an upgrade of Edubuntu from mantic to noble on two separate
machines, one after the other, both machines rebooted at what appears to
have been the exact same point in the upgrade.
Upon reboot, I was able to get both machines back up to speed, but only
after booting back into the Mantic kernel (6.5) since the `update-
initramfs` had not yet been run on the Noble (6.8) kernel, but if solely
running the 6.8 kernel, this could potentially leave the machine in an
unbootable state.
I'll leave a comment with the terminal output after the reboot from the
`dpkg --configure -a` as to not fill this description up too much.
