Ubuntu 10.04 (lucid) reached end-of-life on May 9, 2013.

An 11+ year old environment which no longer exists, and a report that
was never confirmed by another user is not really of any use in modern
day Ubuntu so I'm closing this as 'Invalid'.

** Changed in: syslinux (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Invalid

Title:
  10.04 netbook LTS made startup boot error or some motherboards

Status in syslinux package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  I sometimes saw this boot error when trying to boot off live USB made
  by Startup Disk Creator.

  Make live usb with Ubuntu 10.04 Usb-Creator and check it on this one old comp witch bios pics i posted doesnt work in one 2005 year comp if bios settings "USB Mass Storage emulation type" set "Auto".
  Changing to "All fixed Disc" or "Size" works

  USB made with Multisystem Multiboot WORKS no matter whats the bios setting. Multisystem- see it at http://liveusb.info/
  Made with usb-creator doesnt. Gets this error.
  Instead USB should work.
