Title:
grub2.02~beta2-29ubuntu0.2 fails in Windows 8 UEFI Secure Boot

Status in grub2 package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
Since the upgrade to grub version 2.02~beta2-29ubuntu0.2, Secure Boot
in Windows 8 UEFI mode fails to launch GRUB, instead it falls back to
the Windows boot loader. In order to be able to dual boot I have had
to switch to Legacy Secure Boot. (These are the terms used in the ASUS
  UEFI Bios Utility)

I have attempted to downgrade the packages grub-common, grub-efi-
  amd64, grub-efi-amd64-bin and grub2-common to 2.0~beta2-29 but this
did not solve the problem: I recall that the Muon Update manager put
up a notification about changes to other packages when the upgrade
appeared but I cannot remember what the dependent packages were.
