Title:
Keyboard detection during Ubuntu installation requires mouse
  interaction, making the process cumbersome.

Status in ubuntu-desktop-provision:
  New

Bug description:
  **Summary/Title:**
Keyboard detection during Ubuntu installation requires mouse interaction, making the process cumbersome.

  **Steps to Reproduce:**
  1. Start the Ubuntu installation process.
  2. Proceed to the "Detect keyboard" step where the installer asks a series of questions to identify the keyboard layout.
  3. The installer asks questions such as "Is <this key> on the keyboard?" requiring you to use the mouse to click "Yes" or "No" for each question.

  **Expected Result:**
The keyboard detection process should allow users to respond using the keyboard only, without needing to switch to the mouse. A possible method could involve:
     - Asking users to type any of a list of keys (e.g., "Type any of these: <list of keys> - space if no such keys").
     - Repeating with a different list of keys if necessary.

E.g. The Danish keyboard can be identified in a single key press by
pressing ø. I believe no other keyboards has ø on keycode 48.

  **Actual Result:**
Users are required to find and use the mouse to click "Yes" or "No" for each question during the keyboard detection process, making it less efficient and more cumbersome.

  **Environment:**
  - **Operating System**: Ubuntu 24.04
  - **Installation Method**: Standard installation process without custom configurations.

  **Severity/Priority:**
  - **Severity**: Minor - does not prevent installation but degrades user experience.
  - **Priority**: Low - improving this could enhance user experience during installation.

  **Screenshots/Logs:**
  No screenshots or logs provided.

  **Additional Information:**
A streamlined method, as proposed, could significantly reduce the number of interactions needed to detect the keyboard layout, making the process more efficient and user-friendly. For instance, recognizing that the Danish keyboard uniquely maps the 'ø' character to keycode 48 could allow for a single key press detection.
