This looks like the old installer 'ubiquity' which is no longer the
installer for later Ubuntu releases.

This issue may never be fixed in 'ubiquity' but hopefully the new
flutter based installer will allow an easier installation when using
lower resolution screens.

Title:
Ubuntu 22.04 LTS setup not possible using a 1024x600 display

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
I frequently use Ubuntu 22.04 LTS using a small 1024x600 touch screen.
It works fine. But setup does not - the window titled "Updates and
other software" is too large to fit on the screen and cannot be
  resized or scrolled.

I presume the buttons to continue setup would be there, somewhere
below the bottom of the screen, but they cannot be reached using a
mouse or the touch screen. I suppose a keyboard could be used, but
there is no way of knowing when the focus is in the right control.

The setup ISO was downloaded from Ubuntu web site at circa
  2024-10-25T9:00Z.
