Title:
  upgrade release notes didn't display

Status in ubuntu-release-upgrader package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I had to install the package update-manager. It looks like update-
  manager is used for gnome not kde. Once I started the update process,
  the box that appears with release notes was blank but I could still
  continue the upgrade.  After clicking the upgrade button the terminal
  started to display, Failed to get GBM device.
