Thank you for explaining Michael,
the logs indeed do not use it from the PKG but from git, therefore yes this should be ok.

Bug description:
  The aim of this bug is to eliminate the cd-boot-images-* packages from
  Ubuntu, and do the same work in debian-cd.

  Tasks:

    - Change debian-cd to not require cd-boot-images-* anymore.
    - Remove cd-boot-images-* from the archive.
