Ubuntu better. The Ubuntu version this bug was reported against reached
end-of-life. We appreciate that this bug may be old and you might not be
interested in discussing it anymore. But if you are then please upgrade
to the latest Ubuntu version and re-test. If you then find the bug is
still present in the newer Ubuntu version, please add a comment here
telling us which new version it is in.

  Installing this on blank hard drive and receivedx the error:
  processing triggers for initramfs-tools (0.125ubuntu9) ...
  update-initramfs: Generating /boot/initrd.img-4.10.0-19-generic

  gzip: stdout: No space left on device
  E: mkinitramfs failure cpio 141 gzip 1
  update-initramfs: failed for /boot/initrd.img-4.10.0-19-generic with 1.
  dpkg: error processing package initramfs-tools (--configure):
   subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status 1

  I expected the initramfs to be updated and the install to exit
  properly without error

  Install exited with error code 1
