Is this different work than

so; it should probably match the work that went into upstream 1.9.25
release.

In that case I think it's best to update to 1.9.25 release for two reasons:
1) SRU exception https://wiki.ubuntu.com/firmware-updates specifies to update to new minor releases, not cherry pick patches.
2) Because as I understand Somerville also needs "K2" support which is in 1.9.25 release.

[ Impact ]
* mediatek scalar IC firmware update logic changed, need new fwupd to
support it
[ Test Plan ]
* run command "sudo fwupdmgr update" on hardware with MT9700 scalar
* Mediatek scalar firmware can be update successfully
[ Where problems could occur ]
* This SRU only change the update logic of mediatek scalar
It won't affect other supported devices.
