Ah, I got confused because I had GCC 13 and now Software Updater said
GCC (actually gcc-14-base) was to be updated to 14.2.0. Not sure why
gcc-14-base is installed, I haven't installed gcc-14 packages, anyway it
seems a pretty empty package.

Bug description:
SRU: backport GCC 14 to 24.04 LTS, prepared in the ubuntu-
toolchain-r/ppa PPA. These packages are based on the same versions
that are used in the oracular release.

A test rebuild using these packages was done as described in LP:
  #2076024.

The gcc-14 testsuite run during the build doesn't show regressions.
