maybe issue is in the f2fs-tools instead.

to reproduce:
* install gparted and f2fs-tools
* open gparted
* create ext4 partition
* apply changes
* right-click the created ext4 partition
* "format to" -> "f2fs"
* apply

What happens:
* Error: <device> appears to contain an existing filesystem (ext4).
	Use the -f option to force overwrite.

What should happen:
* somewhere -f should be provided, to overwrite the filesystem as requested
