Ubuntu 17.10 (artful) reached end-of-life on July 19, 2018.

Bug description:
  Some errors while i' m updating to Ubuntu 18.04 from 16.04 (now is
  updating to the 17.10 version) using

  sudo apt update && sudo apt dist-upgrade
  sudo apt install update-manager-core
  sudo do-release-upgrade

  I' m updating because i can' t use cuda 9.2 if i use the nvidia-396
  drivers which have cuda 9.2 i can' t login (i' m bounced back).
