The who workaround is a partial workaround, as that doesn't show the "WHAT" and CPU columns.
Besides that, "w" is in muscle memory, "who -u -H" isn't :-)

  In fully updated Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS the `w` command doesn't show
  controlling TTYs:

   19:18:11 up 3 days,  3:48,  2 users,  load average: 0.00, 0.02, 0.00
  USER     TTY      FROM             LOGIN@   IDLE   JCPU   PCPU  WHAT
  redacted1         192.168.1.2      Wed15    2:11m  0.00s  0.03s sshd: redacted1 [priv]
  redacted2         192.168.1.3      19:09    0:00s  0.00s  0.03s sshd: redacted2 [priv]

  Ubuntu 22 and 20 are not affected. Please fix.
