Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to
review all reported bugs in a timely manner.

The Ubiquity installer is now unmaintained as it has been replaced by
either the 'Ubuntu Desktop Installer' or 'Calamares' starting with the
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS release. So, this bug report is being closed as
'Invalid' as the reported issue will not be fixed in the Ubiquity
installer.

If this is still an issue in new releases of Ubuntu then a new bug
should be reported against the 'calamares' package for the Kubuntu and
Lubuntu flavours or the 'ubuntu-desktop-provision' *project* for the
remaining flavours.

Thank you for your understanding.

Title:
Ubiquity should detect macosx and install on freespace

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Currently when installing on a Mac with "Non allocated" space to
  receive the Ubuntu installation :

  - Ubiquity only propose to "erase the whole disk"
  - On a Similar EFI PC with Windows 10 , it would propose "install along Windows"

Ubiquity should actually propose independently of the detected systems
"install on available space" on any PC
