I suppose so, we had to relax these checks to make it possible to
install from a recovery partition. But it made the TUI worse for more
standard scenarios.

  I tried to install http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/daily-
  live/20250408/plucky-live-server-riscv64.iso on a StarFive VisionFive
  2 board with eMMC. Curtin failed with:

                   ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
