The problem lies in casper at line 86 with an extra `/`.

-    if [ -f "/root/$file" ]; then
+    if [ -f "/root$file" ]; then

Every entry in the `$file` loop has a leading `/`, therefore this is
missing every file it's looking for.

This is not specific to Cinnamon.

  The menu applet shows the installer as "Install RELEASE" instead of
  "Install Ubuntu Cinnamon 25.04". The ubuntucinnamon-live-settings
  package needs to copy the .desktop file /usr/share/applications, which
  should get it to work.
