The backport of z17 support in Binutils to the LTS releases jammy and noble
are covered in separate bugzilla / LP item:

Bug 212466 - LP2108997 : [UBUNTU 22.04] GDB: Internal binutils code
requires updates made for IBM z17 in binutils already

Therefore, we can close this feature request for 25.04 plucky and track
the SRU status in the other BZ 212466 - LP#2108997
