I reported this issue back in focal (bug #1980679), and after upgrading
to jammy the same issue came up again and indeed I see in
/usr/lib/systemd/logind.conf.d/unattended-upgrades-logind-maxdelay.conf

InhibitDelayMaxSec=30

Why would this be set to such an unreasonable delay by default?
