Hi Karl,

I believe there has been a concerted effort to keep rustc reasonably
current in all supported Ubuntu releases, and this has been appreciated
greatly by myself and others who continue to support those releases with
newer software. I don't know if you are aware of that effort, but the
ongoing uploads have definitely not happened by accident.

It appears that some of the current rustc packages in the archive (that
you prepared) were uploaded by Nishit Majithia (0xnishit), for what it's
worth.
