Bug description:
After updating the kernel for raspberry pi 4 with Ubuntu 25.10 I get
the following error:
piboot-try:
New boot assets in /boot/firmware/new failed. Fallen back to known good
state. Use piboot-try --reset-new to re-test boot assets. If you are able
to determine the boot failure is due to a bug, please file an issue:
ubuntu-bug flash-kernel
GNU/Linux 6.17.0-1003-raspi aarch64 is the running kernel.
I tried to upgrade to: GNU/Linux 6.17.0-1004-raspi
I also tried to deinstall an reinstall the kernel, but that didn‘t
work. I also got the error when I first installed the OS with the
raspberry pi imager
