I'll be honest - there is no way I am going to find time for this any
time soon. I agree something like this could be helpful, but I don't
really know in which form, or if it should live somewhere else. It
sounds very specific to be its own tool.

Bug description:
  I believe ubuntu-release-upgrader resets seeded snaps to the intended
  tracks when upgrading from one major Ubuntu release to another. I
  think it would be helpful if there was a command I could run to do
  this at any time.
