Title:
  Software updater crashes when you deselect some some checkboxes from a
  list of software to update

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  When presented with list of software (components) to be updated I need
  to deselect some of them by clicking on check boxes and deselecting
  them. This normally causes the app to be unresponsive (can not click
  on "Install Now" button) and then crashes. It then present an error
  report which I used at least 100 times reporting this crash.
