Probably not the cleanest way to address the issue but this seems to
address the performance regression for now:

Title:
  Partition manager navigation terribly slow

Status in subiquity package in Ubuntu:
  In Progress

Bug description:
The daily Plucky RISC-V installer uses subiquity
  25.04-devel+git68.764d202e.

When installing on a SiFive HiFive Unmatched the navigation in the
partition manager is very slow. It needs ca. 3 seconds to jump from
  one line to another.

The problem does not exist in other parts of subiquity.

This problem did not exist when we released 24.04.

  Best regards

  Heinrich
