Title:
Keyboard layout selected in Ubiquity doesn't carry over into
installation
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Won't Fix
Bug description:
I selected the English (UK) keyboard layout in Ubiquity during
installation (from the live session) but after I had installed Ubuntu
the keyboard layout was English (US), meaning I had to change the
keyboard layout setting again. This is an inconvenience which should
be resolved.
Further, things like Firefox history aren't carried over from the live
session into the install and this probably should be, but this is more
of a feature request, the keyboard layout really should persist in the
install.
