Title:
Install crashed while entering computer name - kept saying name used
and died trying to fix the name spelling

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
How do you add info or logs from an install that crashes before there
are any folders or logs to pull - the /var folder wasn't even created
yet. It is an install that died.

If it had installed a terminal app or similar to run the commands I
would, but it wasn't far enought along in the install to have those
  apps installed.
