Title:
  xubuntu and kubuntu iso dns

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
xubuntu and kubuntu 17.10 oem install with preseed fail because no dns in network.
  Ubuntu 17.10 iso is ok.
The installer creates network but with no dns so ubiquity fails on mirror dns.
  No /var/log/installer created yet.
I am doing full automatic oem installs with preseed.
Even if you load the xubuntu iso in chroot, there is no dns.
again, the ubuntu iso works fine

Without any modifications in kernel or preseed( loaded ok with numiric ip address) the installer creates two networks:
enp2s0 with only an ip adress, just a number 24 in netmask, no gateway, no dns .It is a manual network
and a second network: Wired Connection 1, this configured as dhcp.
  Both state Now.
