  Notebook XMG P507 2017 desktop freeze during installation process

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Won't Fix

Bug description:
  During the installation process the desktop freezes. It is still
  possible to move the mouse cursor arround, but the desktop does not
  respond to mouse clicks or pressed keyboard keys.

  This happens each time I try to install ubuntu 18.04 on this notebook
  making the installation process impossible to complete.

  Graphic cards:
  Intel HD Graphics 630
  NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060
