Title:
xserver-xorg-input-synaptics is not installed by default in KUbuntu
  18.04

Status in kubuntu-meta package in Ubuntu:

Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
I'm doing a clean install of KUbuntu 18.04, on a Dell Precision M6800 machine.
During installation, "tap-to-click" action on the touchpad did not work. It also did not work in the KDE environment after the installation.
Further search showed that "xserver-xorg-input-synaptics" package is not installed, and installing it has fixed my issue.

It would be nice to have this enabled by default in the installer as
well as in the installed system.
