  attempted install from live dvd created using ubuntu live dvd

  i wish i could help more but i am learning this stuff on the side and
  trying to stay afloat (obviously not an IT person). weird goings on
  preboot and i just dont understand enough. probably making it worse
  but is killing my work productivity
