  Installer crashes while installing via custom ubuntu 20.10 iso

Bug description:
  Installer crashes when we attempt to install the Ubuntu 20.10 custom
  iso file. This custom iso file was made using distroshare package.
  Note: the live cd works well with try-ubuntu option

  Errors out when the installation is attempted
