so i did the upgrade now manually:

i got the older plucky.tar.gz from here: https://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/plucky/main/dist-upgrader-all/25.04.1/
then i unpacked it: tar zxvf plucky.tar.gz
and ran it: ./plucky
