Bug description:
  Good morning
  For some time now, I have been using encrypted personal data partitions which are mounted automatically at boot time.

  The first time, the display lasts only two seconds. I don't have time
  to grasp.

  The second time, it is displayed for the time necessary to enter and validate the secret phrase.
  Then the boot continues and everything is fine.

  
  But with the arrival of Linux kernels 6.8.0-50-generic and 6.8.0-51-generic, the behavior is very different:
  The grid continues to be displayed but it is completely impossible to type characters in it.

  I can't tell if the keyboard has become inactive or if the grid
  prevents typing characters or if...

  The workaround found is to remove the splash word from the
  /etc/default/grub file so that this grid stops being used and to
  provide the secret phrase directly in the boot screen.

  What would be the right solution?
