Public bug reported:
I've tried to upgrade to Passwd 4.16 with all the dependencies, but all
my username and password authentication failed. I've tried to roll back,
but it's still failed.
gdm and sudo authentication failed.
I tried creating a new user account, but the gdm login authentication
failed.
