[Bug 2096853] [NEW] JVM crashes with SIGSEGV when running JUnit tests

Public bug reported:

When running the JUnit integration tests of our software the JVM quite
often crashes with a SIGSEGV (not always).

As can be seen from the attached error log file it seems to be related
to the C2 compiler of the JVM.

The error log is from openjdk21 21.0.5+11-Ubuntu-1ubuntu120.04, but the
same error also happens with the jdk version 21.0.6.
