We found out that on the apport side, we sometimes start apport after
the display server crashed, then crashing ourselves. This will become
less important, but likely should still be fixed in gtk to return an
exception rather than crash the app

  This crash is probably a different variant of bug #1842439 but I
  cannot reproduce this crash (by running "killall -11 gnome-shell" on a
  mantic system).

  This bug is the top 1 apport bug in Ubuntu 23.10 (mantic).
