Bug description:
  libconvert-binhex-perl fails to build on that error
  https://launchpadlibrarian.net/798206357/buildlog_ubuntu-questing-amd64.libconvert-binhex-perl_1.125-3_BUILDING.txt.gz

  seems to match https://github.com/uutils/coreutils/issues/7326 which
  is fixed upstream. The patch isn't in our current version so might be
  worth cherrypicking?
