This bug has been present in numerous released of Ubuntu, ever since
Ubuntu moved to GNOME from Unity.

This is a "paper-cut" easy-to-fix bug. Fixing it for the upcoming Ubuntu
25.10 Questing Quokka release is an easy "quick win" and a low-effort
way to add maturity and polish to the Desktop.

Bug description:
  The icon for the "Restart Required" indicator in the Gnome Shell Top
  Bar (top right area of the Gnome Desktop) is incorrect. The icon is a
  very old gnome icon (may be Humanity or hicolor?) and it has never
  been updated to match the Yaru theme's monochromatic icons.
