Bug description:
On some systems foreign apt-repositories are used, e.g. for Google
Chrome.
do-release-upgrade disables these foreign source entries, provides a
message that this has happened and requires to press the Enter key
afterwards.
Stopping to update a browser creates a security issue. Messages which
just require pressing the enter key may easily be disregarded and
after a lengthy update process and the necessary reboot are easily
forgotten.
We should prominently highlight the manual rework that is needed:
At the very end of the update process we could provide a message in a
highlight color that points to necessary manual rework listing all
changed source files.
We should further reconsider why we automatically deactivate source
entries which are not related to the upgraded release. E.g. the Google
Chrome source list entry contains no reference to any of our releases:
Enabled: yes
Types: deb
URIs: https://dl.google.com/linux/chrome/deb/
Suites: stable
Components: main
