Hey Doko, thanks for the bug report.

This case is similar to an isotracker tested scenario, see
https://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/437/builds/255623/testcases/1710/results
for example.

Are you maybe not doing the 'Leave size blank and select "Leave
unformatted" for the format' step? This is not entirely obvious from a
UX standpoint but should produce the requested result.

Title:
partitions not shown for building RAID devices

Status in subiquity package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
Trying to have a raid1 installation doesn't let me choose the
partitions for creating the RAID devices. Seen with the 24.04.02
  installer.

  - Start with two zeroed nvme drives
  - Create gpt partition table on both
  - Mark one as boot drive, the other as alternative boot drive
  - Create a partition on both drives, same size
  - Trying to create a raid devices doesn't show any devices
The screen looks similar to the one in LP: #1975860, just
for the raid selection instead of the volume group selection.

This works with the Debian trixie rc1 installer, and just creating the
RAID devices with the Debian installer, and then continuing with the
  Ubuntu installer works.
