still buggy, see the ld.log file in the binutils-dev package:

Bug description:
  see the log & sum files in binutils-dev, a lot of

  sh: 1: /bin/stty: not found

  seen on all archs except i386 with the GNU coreutils

  I see the /bin/stty in local chroots, but apparently not on the
  buildds
