I wonder if this is a duplicate of bug 2107741 which seems to have been
just fixed in Questing?

Title:
Duplicate driver entries in software-properties-gtk on tab change
Status in software-properties package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
When switching to the "Additional Drivers" tab in `software-
properties-gtk`, the list of available drivers is duplicated every
time the tab is changed. This results in multiple copies of the same
driver options appearing in the interface.
---
**Steps to Reproduce:**
1. Open terminal and run:
```
software-properties-gtk --open-tab=4
```
2. Switch to a different tab (e.g., "Ubuntu Software") and then return to "Additional Drivers".
3. Observe that the list of drivers is duplicated.
4. Repeat the process — the list duplicates again with every tab switch.
---
**Expected Behavior:**
The driver list should remain clean and update only once. Switching tabs should not re-render additional copies of the existing list.
**Actual Behavior:**
Each time the "Additional Drivers" tab is opened, it adds another full set of the same drivers already shown. Even the "currently in use" driver is duplicated in each copy.
---
**System Information:**
* **OS:** Ubuntu 25.04
* **Package:** `software-properties-gtk`
* **Display server:** Wayland
* **Graphics driver in use:** NVidia 570
* **Observed consistently:** Yes, always reproducible.
---
**Additional Notes:**
* Behavior affects usability and may confuse users when selecting or changing drivers.
* A video demonstration is available if needed.
