Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
Bug reporting is about finding & fixing problems thus preventing future
users from hitting the same bug.
I suspect a Support site would be more appropriate, eg.
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu. You can also find help with your
problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community
http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or
https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/welcome-to-support-and-help/49951, or for
more support options please look at
https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community-support/709
( this is not an installer bug; esp. not ubiquity; but I don't know what
package to change it to sorry. I'm marking it incomplete as it appears
the OP is after support/solution more than fix )

Title:
no access rights to files after successful onedrive mount
Status in ubiquity package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
i was looking for a method to access my microsoft onedrive files in
Ubuntu 24.04 LTS using Nautilus file manger.
Now GNOME 46 in latest Ubuntu LTS includes OneDrive access. Gvfs
backend authorised through GNOME Online Accounts in the Settings app
add an emtry tp the Nautilus sidebar.
set it up:
1) open online accounts in the settings app
2) for OneDrive file access choose the Microsoft 365 account type
3) In the next dialog ignore All of the fields and options and click "sign in"
4) This opens another dialog - and click the "sign in" button again.
5) Microsoft website will open and you will be able to log in using your Microsoft account credentials.
6) Next sign in to GNOME
7) next allow microsoft`s sign-in side to open goa-auth2 links.
8) press Open Link button to complete the authorisation.
9) now you will see the Microsoft account details listed in the dialog.
10)when the toggle is turned on a virtual mount icon with your account name beside it will appear in the sidebar of the nautilus file manager.
11) mount your OneDrive cloud storage.
Now the problem:
I am able to see the Onedrive Folder and files - but i can`t access any of these files.
can not browse the contents of the files !!!
Next Problem:
After removal of the Microsoft Online Account - it`s not possible to sign in with other Microsoft account credentials. you will always signed in with the previous first Microsoft account credentials.
But at the second sign in - it`s no longer possible to see the folder
directory of my files.
unfortunately this onedrive integration doesn't work!
regards
roland
