Public bug reported:

On Ubuntu 24.04 Noble Numbat, with gpg --version "gpg (GnuPG) 2.4.4,
libgcrypt 1.10.3"

When encrypting with a recipient key file (option -f or -F for hidden recipient key file)
Example command: "gpg --encrypt --recipient-file key-rsa.asc --output test-encrypted.gpg < test.txt
the encryption fail with this error message (-v does not give more info)
"gpg: signal Segmentation fault caught ... exiting"

The kind of the public key (ECC or RSA) doesn't matter, if fails the
same.

I couldn't this bug in gnupg mailing list, but I've tried with more
recent gpg versions (on Fedora and Debian sid) and it works fine

** Affects: gnupg2 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
