[Bug 2109758] Re: software updater says there are more updates but wont do them

I followed script (also sudo before apt install).
apt install: 
$ sudo apt install update-manager
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree... Done
Reading state information... Done
update-manager is already the newest version (1:24.04.9).
0 to upgrade, 0 to newly install, 0 to remove and 7 not to upgrade.

$ ls -l /usr/bin/update-manager
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 4765 Sep 26  2024 /usr/bin/update-manager
(same as before apt install)

Running update-manager bought up changes for mysql and java (attached). 
After these completed it still showed the screen as #8

Bug description:
  Software updater starts automatically when it detects a new set of updates. When this is done it shows new 
  'Other updates'- 42kB with a sublevel 'System components' both with checkboxes, but you cant select the checkboxes.
  BTW at the bottom of the window it says 16.6 MB will be downloaded (not 42Kb).

  You have to cancel to close the window. At the next update period a
  similar thing happens
