  I tried to do a release upgrade to 25

Bug description:
  When I tried to update to Ubuntu 25 due to the system telling me I
  could, I got the following exact message:

  Can't install ''

  It was impossible to install a required package. Please report this as
  a bug using 'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-core' in a terminal.

  ---

  So I did the thing in the terminal and now here I am typing in this
  textbox. See the attached screenshot for details.
