[Bug 2111117] [NEW] upgrade from up to date 24.10 fails

dell xps 9300
currently using ubuntu 24.10
system is up to date both for apt and snap

when booting ubuntu, once logued, it tells me there is a newer version of ubuntu
i accept, type my sudo password

it works a little, then fails.

did an apt update + apt upgrade + snap fresh followed with a reboot
tried a second time to upgrade the system : it fails
