Title:
  upgrade 12.10

Status in update-manager package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  after two fresh installs upgrade to 12.04.4 and upgrade to 12.10 system is inop.
   went to blue screen and flashing dot for awhile then screen shutdown
  This being reported from boot off of USB stick and fresh demo mode.
