  Upgrade ends in a black screen and hangs after ~3 hrs

  New

Bug description:
  Upgrade ends in a black screen and hangs after ~3 hrs 256 CPU cores 512gb RAM  ,
  USB keyboard light / caplock etc does not respond
  sometimes I can still ping pc
  ssh drops off completely
  SysRq still works for reboot RSUIB

  this has happened multiple times I have rolled back with btrfs 24.10 snapshot's and rinse repeated
  I have tried multiple times removing drivers before upgrades etc

  anything I can run to get full logs ? should I strace ?

  another issue is for some reason all video players end up with this when ever I did end  up on 25.04
  symbol lookup error: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libavutil.so.59: undefined symbol: vaMapBuffer2
  no matter how many times I force reinstalling ffmpeg / libavutil

  however when I do a fresh 24.04 to 24.10 to 25.04 it does not happen
  only on my main OS that has been upgraded since possibly the 12's

  another issue when I was on 25.04 every thing lagged , ie) typing sudo
  would take 1 min for password to pop up

  
  doing file browsing could take 1 minute for each folder to show contents etc

  dmesg would not show anything what could I do for find the cause ?
