Severeal years ago, I may have made a keystroke error during
installation. I have AMD hardware. But, Intel code may be installed.
And, recently, before the Software Updater quit working, I have seen
that Intel microcode is on my list of daily updates to install. I am
suspicious that intel code does not belong in my laptop.

While running software updater I am getting this error "failed to
download repository information Check your internet connection" but my
internet connection is OK. Please help to fix this error
